POLICIES

Important policies for families participating in CDF Academy.

These policies reflect the handbook and clarify the homeschool enrichment nature of the program, parent responsibilities, supervision boundaries, conduct expectations, and ministry environment.

CDF Academy is organized as a parent-directed homeschool enrichment program that offers in-person classes, activities, and instructional support in a physical location. It is not a private school, daycare, or custodial childcare program, and it does not guarantee provider approval or scholarship approval.

Homeschool Responsibility Policy

Parents or guardians remain the sole primary educational authority for their child and are responsible for curriculum selection, recordkeeping, scholarship compliance, and overall educational decisions.

Program Fees & Payments

Fees are charged for educational services and program participation, not for custodial care. Registration, tuition, supply fees, and related charges are published separately in current enrollment materials.

Attendance and Supervision Policy

Attendance is based on registered sessions only. CDF Academy does not provide before-care, after-care, daycare services, open campus supervision, or babysitting services.

Curriculum Policy

Parents provide the student’s primary educational plan and remain responsible for curriculum decisions. The program may use common resources for certain classes, but this does not transfer legal authority away from the parent.

Media Policy

Photographs and videos may be taken during classes, chapel, activities, presentations, field trips, or special events for academy or church communications, unless a parent submits written notice to opt out.

Conduct, Safety, and Mission Alignment

Students are expected to behave respectfully and safely in a Christ-centered environment. The program may suspend or terminate participation when behavior, unpaid fees, repeated policy violations, or mission misalignment significantly disrupt program life.
