  • Application materials: family demographic information, student educational history, parent statements of educational philosophy, pastoral references, and signed statements of faith.
  • Payment information: processed by our third-party payment provider; we do not store credit card numbers on our systems.
  • Photographs and student work: with parental consent, we may use student photos and sample work in newsletters, marketing materials, and on our website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide the family information packet you have requested.
  • Process and review applications for enrollment in our enrichment program.
  • Administer our program, including communicating with families, sending weekly assignment sheets, and providing portfolio coaching.
  • Process tuition payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Send newsletters, event invitations, and program updates to current and prospective families who have opted in.
  • Improve our website, programs, and communications.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations, including Florida homeschool reporting requirements where applicable.

  • Pastoral references you provide, whom we may contact during the application process.

  • With your explicit consent for any other purpose.

5. Children's Privacy

We collect personal information about minors only with parental consent and only as necessary to administer our enrichment program. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at info@cdfacademy.com and we will delete it promptly. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and regular review of our security practices. Application materials are retained for seven years after the end of enrollment. Inquiry information not resulting in enrollment is retained for three years and then deleted.
